With local viewing of movie, very high (65%) cpu usage on my MacBook Pro despite hardware accelaration. Adding 5.1 sound support might give Elmedia player an advantage (reason to buy, despite VLC being freeware). VLC has announced Airplay support in version 4. I would give an extra star if the program would support 5.1 sound (i.e. Unfortunately Elmedia player only streams stereo sound and no 5.1 sound (application Beamer does support this, so it's technically feasible).
